Rotorua -- a billion years late I know

We were in Rotorua like 2 weeks ago or something it was really fun. But sense I didn't have any time to do a blog post about it I'm now finally getting around to it.

So there's more pictures on the way of when we went to the farm, lake and much more.. I just don't have them from the girls yet - but I should be getting them after FHE tonight.  :)

Mammas donuts!! So so sooo good!!
ZORBING!!!  So zorbing is like a big huge hamster ball with really nice hot water You pretty much roll down a hill in a giant hamster ball full of hot water. I haven't laughed so hard or had so much fun in a long time. It was so thrilling! I wasn't even planning to do it I was just going to watch and take pictures for the girls until I made my self go change into my tog. ( tog = NZ lingo bathing suit) Oh in Rotorua it has these natural hot springs and it smells really funny so my mom made me pack my ugly bathing suit cause we heard it's really hard to get the smell out. :D So that's why I'm wearing that one. Oh the blue stamps? The guy said we had to have one on our head and on our four head if we wanted to do the Zorbing. So yeah.... :D

(Left to right)- Kirsten, Brittany, me, Margo, Brooke and Mandy.
Yup we are in that rolling down the hill! above my team

Jump!!!!!!!

This is the room we stayed in. Everyone just slept on mattresses. Big slumber party!

almost each night we'd all watch a movie. Here we're watching Tangled. It was really fun watching the movies with everyone.

Good ol' Kahu 5

Good ol' Kahu 5! Well like I've said it's my last week in Kahu 5. Boy am I gonna miss it!
Each morning I do this:

 1. walk to my class (not in hallways but outside), and seeing the boys playing touch on the black top

 2. The boys who are playing touch say " Hi Tiare!" "Where's Atticus?!?!?" ( At school kids say my
name like (TEE - AH- D - EH)
the "D" is the d sound. That's in Tahitian and in Maori. )

  3. I make my way through all the kids playing Gutter ball and into my classroom were Justin Bieber is
playing from our small radio in the back of the room. ( Why Justin Bieber is playing in our
      classroom
you might ask?? Well on rainy days we're can bring a CD and the class can listen to it in the
        mornings
until the bell rings. And PJ just always brings Justin Bieber. I'm not a big fan of JB but I really do
        like
walking into the room hearing the music going and seeing all my friends and then going & stuff. :D )

 4.  Next go put bag away in cloakroom then play gutter ball, kunukel bones, or just go run around

 5. Bell rings, sit down and take roll

 6. Karakia (Prayer) , Wiata (song), then notices (aka announcements on intercom)

7. After the notices we get into Maths or Fitness and the day goes on!

I love the mornings!

This video is  what we do after the bell rings. This is us doing our Karakia (song) and our Wiata (song)

This Video is our class doing the hip-hop dance Mandy taught us. We do it twice a week and we'll be performing it in front o the whole school on Thursday!!!

I know I look really weird in this class picture but this is Kahu 5! Well a bit of it some kids you can't really see :D

This is us playing Kanuckle Bones.  You can only see my head though. :D

Can you see Atticus? Hint gray shirt Sorry we kinda blend in

Last day at the Lincon Ward

Today was the very last day of the Lincon Ward for us. It was sad cause we love the Lincon Ward.  We're going to leave for Hamiltion and Rotorua on Friday. So I'll still be able to go to Youth on Thursday. That's when I'll have to say goodbye to everyone then :( :(
I loved the Young Women in the ward. They are so great. I love all of the Youth to. There all really cool. We've all had a lot of fun with them. My dad has made friends with all of the boys in Young Mens  they'll tell him all the good places for surfing and stuff like that and they'd invite him to come and see them perform at Polyfest. :D Atti has made friends with the Young Men to. After Youth they go out in the parking lot and play touch so Atticus and my dad would go to. They have really fun hanging out with them.
The Young Women's are so cool!!! And they've been so nice! I've love going to Youth each Thursday and seeing all of them. We've done a lot of really fun activities with heaps of yummy food! :D I really, really don't want to leave them.

One really cool thing was that on Sat. we went to Polyfest! We went to see some of the Youth perform. The whole week leading up to it they were really  excited that we were coming. They kept asking " You are coming right?!? " I'm performing on Sat. to come and see! " " Come see us at Polyfest"! to me and my family. :D They did so so soooooo well!! It was so cool seeing all of the High schools perform. In my opinion Polyfest was much better than Pasifica. But that's just me ;D. It was really cool after they'd do all their  dances all of these people would stand up in the crowd and start doing it back to them. Like they'd just stand up and totally really getting into it was the coolest thing I've ever seen. It's really hard to explain. Well I'm gonna miss The Lincon Ward heaps. That's all I have to say. :(

Catching up part one :D

My mom with the lady who made the cake. (see all the food?!)
 cake!
This was what we had for dinner for the 1st night I think
I have some catching up to do. oh and you might be wondering why I said part one in the tittle well there was just a LOT  we did in Whangarei so I'm breaking it up into parts.  :) Even though I  did a blog post not that long ago, we've done a lot of things in that little time.

First Whangarei:     ( aka --- FUN garei!!!!)   ( wh is said like a F)

We went to James Ah - Mu's ( our NZ guide ) house last week. It's about 2 hours away from Auckland. So we rented to big vans and we had Jame's van and piled up all of us and drove there. Well in the car is fun ( kinda - it's a big van going up big tall windy roads so it can't be all the 100% fun ) because we are with the girls.  In my car we had Mandy, Brooke C, Brooke T, Brittany B, Kirsten, Margo, Atticus, James (he was driving) and me. I wrote a fairy tale story that had everyone in it while we were driving. It was way fun. Brooke T was a princess who was locked up in a tall building in downtown Auckland by evil Queen Brittany B! Kirsten was a fairy god mother, Margo was a tree (like grandmother Willow in Pokahuntus ) and Brooke C was a servant so was Mandy. Atticus was a boy who sold pomegranates with the governor James. Ha it was so funny and fun to write!  And while we stopped for gas Margo would get out and practice the dance were learning in Culture and we'd tell her what to do next and stuff. :D

Note: these were the LEFT OVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the driving payed off once we got there. All the girls got to sleep on mattress in two big tents. But one girl got to sleep in the same room as me Brittany L. I slept on the mattress on the floor and she slept on the bed. Atti slept in my parents room. I can't tell you how much food we ate. Don't even get me started.   The amount of food we had for even just one meal is bigger than what we have at Thanksgiving. For one night James invited all of the YSA to come over for a BBQ. That was way fun. Their YSA is HUGE!! So you know what that means.................. heaps................ of food. And everyone brought a plate of food as well. The pic. up there of the long cake is what one of James' family members brought. Oh forgot to mention some of James' family came as well. ( even more food )

With the YSA we played Valley ball, frezzby, touch ( rugby ) & one really fun thing that we did was one of the girls got there Ipods and made a playlist and hooked it up to one of the vans and they pulled up up by the back yard, opened up all the doors and played it really loud. So we had all this fun music playing as well so we all danced to.
YSA dancing

well that's all I have time for right now to do :D I have no idea why's it's big and bolded ....... hope you enjoyed the post..... more pics to come!

Practicing our moves

Getting ready for us to start dancing.

In the pic above can you see me? I'm on the left kinda in the back with a red shirt on and black pants. Just look for the red shirt.

Every Thursday at school during lunch you can go to Culture.  Culture is a class were you learn songs and dances from all kinds of cultures. Mrs. Tararo is in charge of it. Mrs. Tararo asked Mandy to teach us a hip hop dance. We learned a Samoan dance and we'll be learning a Maori dance + song, and a Cook Island song + dance. It's really fun! My brother didn't come this day. So here are some pictures and a video
